Meet little miss Indigo Knight. Indigo is the Tibby sculpt by Donna Rubert. She was such fun to reborn. She will headed home to her excited new mommy first thing in the morning.

Sneak peek of Mr Dacoda Amarae

I just love this handsome little man. Yes, he is the Reese Arcello sculpt. By now you've likely noticed something different about him you can't place your finger on. I softened the creases in his eyelids. The process was similar to what reborners do to open eyes and involves removing vinyl versus adding to the sculpt. This was not done with clay so there is nothing to weaken and fall off. His face will be this shape always as if the vinyl mold was poured this way. Still much to do with him. He needs lips work, more yellow, reds and blue for depth, and limb details before he can move to hair.

Next kit on the block...

Began painting Reese Arcello yesterday. I have a nice warm brown complexion started. I will be going a little darker today and hopefully start his details by tonight. The plan for him is a caramel brown skintone. Can you tell that's my favorite to paint?

I have hair... MIss Indigo Knight

Yay! I have a head full of hair now. Indigo knight was micro rooted one strand at a time with beautiful curly black human hair. Check out her gorgeous locks. She will visit the eye doctor today and get paint tweeks and some gloss. Still a little to do to make her presentable to her mommy whomever that may be. Is it you?

Even More Arcello's

Wooowhooooo I just lucked onto another Vienna kit. She will be on her way to me on Monday and I can't wait to start on her. Vienna is probably my number one favorite kit, tied with Sally by Bonnie Brown who hasn't been released yet. Yes, she is even before Jayden for me.  I just love her sweet newborn innocence. I made one for my mom and was so in love with how she looked and just curled up and she posed just so adorably. Yep, more Arcello's I can't help it.
I also purchased a Reese today, so I'm in Arcello heaven right now.

So, apparently subconsciously, my favorite artist is Andrea Arcello. While I love Arcello kits and frequently find myself on her site I hadn't realized I had done and will do so many of her kits until today when I decided on making Reese too. I even considered Greyson for the East Indian baby I'm making but eventually chose Sweet Pea. I did a Noah/Niah about a year or two ago then I made a much coveted Vienna for my mom. Now I am going to soon start on a Reese baby boy. I haven't put my finger on what it is that draws me to them but I love Arcello's. I am always on the hunt for another Vienna kit, after making my mom's I now want one for ME, but for the meantime I will be working on Reese.

Tibby Update:
I think I will be done with Tibby's hair by Friday if not sooner. I am at the top of her head and will work on her hairline very soon. So excited to get her hair done and styled. I wish I could post a photo but I don't have any hats and she has the old man bald crown look going on right now.

Heavenly Russell (no longer available)

I was planning to make a sibling for Tibby to photograph with using Heavenly but I have decided to just do Tibby alone. Therefore, I am selling the Heavenly kit as she is too small to fit the clothing I have been hoarding to make the newborn boy in mind. She is #81 of 250 and comes with the girl belly plate. Asking $100 shipped within U.S. I am instead on the lookout for a peaceful sleeping newborn kit that will work well as a boy and hopefully has full arms.
